Unknown Poet
on a June night
at the beginning of summer
I started going back through
some of the old magazines
where I had some of
my early poems published
and
when I read them over again
after so many years
had come and gone
it was like discovering
some unknown poet
for the very first time
James Babbs has been writing for most of his life but he still manages to learn new things. He
has written hundreds of poems and a few short stories and has even had a few of them published.
James likes gazing up at the stars at night, alone, or even better, with someone special. James
enjoys eating lima beans and brussels sprouts but he never did care for okra.
