I envision a near future
where every inconvenience
or failure that the president faces
leads to a false flag staged attempted assassination,
bullets whizzing safely past by his ears
or gunfire in his general vicinity
every time the price of gas goes up,
every time the Strait of Hormuz opens or closes
elaborate plots will be foiled.
Every time Epstein is mentioned
a patsy takes a shot. Drink! Drink! Drink,
each time would-be assassins are taken into custody.
Volumes of madman manifestos leaked to the press
as the administration tweets
“Tariffs would have prevented this!
Mass deportations would have stopped this!
This never would have happened
if women had been stripped
of their rights to vote!”
