Protons and Neurons by R. Gerry Fabian

Protons and Neurons

Despite the many warnings,
I continue to date
the woman with a gold tooth.
I like that she’s not
overly overtly affectionate.
She has a Jewish sense of humor
which always draws me in.
The gypsy flair
with scented scarves and swishy skirts,
intoxicates flirtatiously.
Her eclectic palette takes us
to diverse dangerous neighborhoods.
Most of all.
she takes my smile and puts it places
other women have yet to discover.
