Street Parking is available on nearby streets. The parking lots on the corner of 8th & Washington are also free and open to the public on a first come, first serve basis. Parking is also available in the Lighthouse Premium Outlets lot located on Wabash Street.

getting to MC from Chicago BY TRAIN
1st to get to Downtown Chicago/Millenium Station from O’hare–take the L’s Blue Line to Downtown Chicago, Washington stop.

then walk .2 miles to Millenium Station on the corner of Randolph and Michigan Avenue
(or take an Uber/Lyft from O’Hare to Millenium, but don’t take a cab unless you have spare money to set on fire)

The South Shore Train runs from Millenium Station to 2 stops in Michigan City. (the 11th Street stop in MC is 3 blocks from the Uptown Arts District).
The fare is $9.50 each way. Purchase tickets in Millenium station at the kiosk or ticketing window, or with their App, or you can pay cash on the train but it’s an extra buck if the ticketing agent is open at the time.
