\nAll the hunting grounds
\nare used up, worked
\nout.<\/p>\n
Inspired thoughts come.
\nThe design for a hunting preserve.
\nPull those I might wave
\nmy Poet at, pull
\n’em into a room.
\nThen wave it in long, slow
\nwavings, deep, encircling moves,
\nwreathes of voice and word, winds
\nfrom moving hands, lips, eyes.<\/p>\n
Make it double barreled:<\/p>\n
a conference, place
\nwhere secrets
\nare divulged.<\/p>\n
A reading, a place
\nwhere egos, theirs, may unfurl.<\/p>\n
Be subtle: not just women
\ninvited. Everybody. Poets,
\npublishers, patrons, those tickled by
\nmuses . . .<\/p>\n
Then, slick down the heavy wool
\non my bent leg, tune
\nmy three note whistle.
