Zygote in My Coffee (often referred to simply as “Zygote“) was a popular underground literary magazine that published poetry, short fiction, social commentary, political rants, one act plays, erotica, comic strips, comic books, confessional pieces, metafiction/experimental, chapbook reviews, poetry book reviews, novel reviews, photography, artwork, interviews, movie & music reviews. Zygote was published twice a year in print and monthly online. Brian Fugett was the Editor-in-Chief with co-editors Karl Koweski, Aleathia Drehmer and C. Allen Rearick.
